Location of The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is located directly opposite the Magic Kingdom, across the Seven Seas Lagoon.The Villas are located within the resort, just to one side, near the wedding pavillion and spa. It is just one stop away from Magic Kingdom on the monorail.
Villa Options at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
Like the hotel rooms, the villas are one of the more expensive options. Despite this, its location and the fact that it is relatively new means it is hard to get a villa there, so if you’ve got your heart set on it book early.
Studio Rooms
- Sleep 5, plus one child under age of three in travel crib
- 1 queen size bed and 1 queen sized sofa bed and 1 pull down single bed
- Table and chairs
- Balcony or patio
- Kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster and coffeemaker
- Amenities include in-room safe, voice mail, free wifi, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, and Pack ‘n Play® playard.
- Unlike standard rooms, they will come with a limited number of paper plates and cups, glasses, bottle opener, disposable cutlery etc.
- You have the options of a standard view (views of courtyard, monorail, car park or gardens) or lake view
1 bed villas
- Sleep 5, plus one child under age of three
- One-bedroom with king bed, one-bath room, with a separate living room
- Fully equipped kitchen, including a washing machine and dryer
- Dining area with table and chairs
- Patio or balcony
- Master bedroom suite includes a king-size bed and bathroom with whirlpool bath
- The living room has a queen-size sofa bed and a pull down single bed
- Amenities include DVD player, in-room safe, voice mail, free wifi, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker and Pack ‘n Play® playard.
- You have the options of a standard view(views of courtyard, monorail, car park or gardens) or lake view
2 bed villas
- Sleep 9 or 10, plus one child under age of three.
- Dedicated villas sleep 9 and have:
- Master bedroom with King size bed, private bathroom with whirlpool tub
- 2nd bedroom with 2 Queen sized beds and second bathroom
- Living room has queen-sized sofa bed plus a pull down single bed
- Combined villas are a 1 bed villa and adjacent studio villa with connecting door. These sleep 10:
- Master bedroom with King size bed, private bathroom with whirlpool tub
- 2nd bedroom is the Studio, with 1 queen-size bed and 1 queen-size sleeper sofa and 1 pull-down single bed and second bathroom
- Living room has queen-sized sofa bed plus a pull down single bed
- Third bathroom is off the living room

- These are not standardly offered to UK guests – try the Walt Disney Travel Company directly if you’re interested
- Sleep 12 plus one child under 3
- Very expensive and hard to get – they book up quickly
- 2 storey
- Full kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room
- Master bedroom with king bed and bathroom with whirlpool tub and shower
- Two additional bedrooms both with 2 queen beds and each have a private bathroom.
- Additional bathroom – 4 in total
- The living room has a queen sized sofa bed

Transport to and from The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
This is a monorail resort so will take you from your hotel and deliver you to the front door of the magic at Magic Kingdom. There are two monorails running so make sure you get the right one, or you’ll have to change. Alternatively, you can get the ferry across the Seven Seas Lagoon to the Magic Kingdom. The second monorail takes you to the Transportation and Ticket Centre, where you transfer to a monorail that runs to Epcot. Disney buses run from the front of the hotel to all of the parks.

- Access to a leisure area (including BBQ pit) next to the spa.
- A covered walkway links the Villas to the main Grand Floridian building.
